Visual Resources Association Foundation appoints task force to make recommendations for CCO

The Visual Resources Association Foundation (VRAF) has appointed a task force to research and explore options for the continued, sustained, and future development, maintenance, web presence, and administrative structure of Cataloging Cultural Objects (CCO). The task force will report its findings and recommend a course or courses of action to the VRAF Board of Directors by February 1, 2016.

The members of the task force represent a broad spectrum of experience and interest in metadata standards as they pertain to the visual world. They are: Janice Eklund (Retired, UC/Berkeley), Lael Ensor (Johns Hopkins University), Sheryl Frisch (California Polytechnic University), (Elisa Lanzi (Smith College), Heidi Quicksilver (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum), Trish Rose-Sandler (St. Louis Botanical Gardens), and Margaret Webster (VRAF Director and chair of the task force).
